This original work for SA children's voices celebrates the beauty of snow at Christmas (tying it to the purity of a baby in a manger), the elation of snow activities (comparing it to the joy of the angels' message), and the fun of caroling (including the familiar tune Here We Come A-Caroling). Commissioned by the Colorado Children's Chorale, it may be performed (as is the recording below) with two pianos (and optional percussion and strings), or with a full orchestra accompaniment. |
