Commissioned by the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, Dallas, TX. An extended and very colorful setting of the traditional Catalonian carol about various birds coming to visit the Child in the manger. Rather cinematic in scope, it begins and ends quietly but includes powerfully dramatic moments along the way. Suitable for concert or church service use. |
